does E4E button have to stay on the footer?

does the E4E Powered button have to stay on at the footer? or can we remove it? please advise, thanks!

Do not alter/remove the footer copyright. If you wish to switch from a button to a text, please contact support and we can update it to say "Powered by E4E" versus a banner. Don't worry though, having the copyright footer has never prevented sales. We could probably provide you with an updated color if it doesn't match your current site.
